It's 11:40am, and I'm waiting for a call to say "We're ready, come and get us." What will follow will be a 3 hour car journey, a long queue in a small airport, a short flight and a shorter cab ride, and then, with just 24 hours to recover, the biggest party night on Earth.
The entire crew of Foxhole Music are heading to Dortmund, Germany for the Mayday "Twenty Young" event. A whole night of banging techno beats from one of the best sound systems in the world, and a dancefloor pounded on by happy feet from around the world. And there's more to look forward to! The release of the long-awaited Echoes of the Past from Tantalus, Undercover by our new artist Entox, and also the first in a new line of promo EPs, Foxhole Presents 2011, which will be downloadable FREE from Foxhole Music. With new albums from Tantalus and Forged coming in 2011, as well as the long-awaited debut album from Entox, Foxhole Music prepares for a major relaunch.
The project is still in its initial stages, so we don't have a solid date yet for the launch of the new site, but we're expecting sometime around the end of the summer, to coincide with the release of Forged's follow-up to their seminal debut, Fusion. What other new stuff in 2011? Tantalus will be re-releasing all material in the coming weeks. New high-quality versions of Tantalus tracks will be uploaded, along with updated album descriptions and artwork. Tantalus also has a new album due out very soon, so keep watching this site for info. New artist Entox has also joined Foxhole Music - keep watching for more news and sample tracks. |
